A little bit about ourselves
Well here goes a little bit about me and my long suffering husband who puts up with my love of German Shepards.
I grew up with a German Shepherd 'Fonz' who lived to the grand old age of seventeen. During our time together I realised just how intelligent he was as he always knew before anybody else in the house that I was on my way home.
Now my husband Andy, can't really deny his hidden passion for dogs as he used to be a Military police dogs handler in both UK and Germany during which time he had a number of dogs , (one a Rotty, which is a bit unusual for a police dog but all the same gave even the most drunk soldier something to think about!) My favourite trick was to kidnap the police dog and take him for a walk.
It was whilst living in Northern Ireland that we bought our first dog together from a breeder called Racheal Rea, a well known breeder at that time. Following that we bought another four dogs from her which all together included Amy, Ben, Candi, Duke and for my parents Bobby. Unfortunately time has passed and so have those, which leave us with fond and happy memories. But during the time Duke and Amy had a small litter which included Elanor who is still soldiering on with us at a mature age of 13.
I'd always been interested in 'the whites' and a few years ago I talked Andy into buying one which led to two. Funny how you can sweet talk somebody! So we now have Gnasher and Hermione. Now some of you may of noticed that there is somewhat of a theme in the names of our dogs, which is all the one's that we have owned are in alphabetical order, a system we use in the litters which we started when Hermione gave birth to six boys and two girls, Arte et labore, Amazonian, Augustus Bloom (aboo), Azlan, Armstrong, Aregon, Ariel and last but not least Amylee.
So why Ewoodelland? Ann is a super Leeds supporter who play at Elland Road and Andy a fanatic Blackburn fan who play at Ewood Park....its as daft as that!
